Making sense of chaos, one word at a time
Nina Jagannathan | Ghostwriter for the Digital Age
Welcome to my small corner of the internet. Wit’s End came to life thanks to equal parts curiosity, caffeine, and the realization that someone needed to translate all the “AI revolution” and cybersecurity jargon into something real people could actually read.
If your company builds AI tools or keeps digital doors locked tight, but your message gets lost in tech-speak, that’s where I come in. I help smart people sound human again.
The Winding Path
I was born in the chaos of New York City and raised across America’s cultural patchwork. Iowa City, Los Angeles, Gainesville, Stony Brook, St. Louis, Cincinnati – each place left a mark on how I think and how I write.
My path wasn’t exactly straight. I studied biomedical engineering (because, naturally, that’s how all writers start), followed it up with a master’s degree in electrical engineering, and then spent a few years working in various fields, from power grids to marketing analytics.
At some point between managing fleets and fending off cyber threats, I realized my real strength wasn’t just understanding complicated systems, it was explaining them.
Since then, I’ve:
- Helped manage parts of Illinois’ power grid (without any blackouts, thankfully)
- Worked in cybersecurity (where paranoia counts as professional development)
- Helped demystify AI tools and emerging tech for everyday audiences
- Written for startups, vendors, and thought leaders trying to make tech make sense
What I’ve learned is simple: the best stories about technology aren’t really about technology at all – they’re about people.
The Method to My Madness
I consider my writing style to be a balance between precision and curiosity. I love the technical side of things – the logic and structure – but what really drives me is finding the human story behind it all.
When I take on a project, I start by getting to the heart of what you’re trying to say and why it matters. Then I strip out the noise and shape it into something clear, honest, and memorable.
Whether I’m ghostwriting a LinkedIn article for a cybersecurity exec, drafting a white paper for an AI startup, or scripting a keynote, my approach stays the same:
- Make it clear.
- Make it human.
- Make it worth reading.
Because the right words don’t just explain – they build trust.
Life Beyond the Laptop
When I’m not deep in a draft or arguing with a sentence that refuses to cooperate, you’ll probably find me:
- Analyzing hockey stats and yelling at the Chicago Blackhawks
- Pretending to identify “notes of toasted oak” at wine tastings
- Planning restaurant visits like a military campaign
- Talking to animals as if they’re coworkers (they’re good listeners)
